Installation
Pharmacy Computer Services, Inc. (PCSI) approaches all major installations from a service viewpoint rather than a product viewpoint. We believe a successful implementation strategy requires that each customer be treated individually.
Each client is provided a complete range of services in support of the Rx3000 Systems—from initial on-site preparation through planned milestones, to on site go-live assistance.
Both the customer and PCSI must be 100% committed to a successful installation. A PCSI project manager is assigned each new Rx3000 application installation. The customer is also required to designate a qualified manager to coordinate installation. A workable implementation plan depends on many factors, including the availability of resources, equipment lead times, facility work, cabling efforts, etc. A full implementation schedule will be developed jointly with the pharmacy staff at an appropriate time.
Some hardware support is provided for HP, Linux, Unix, Interactive Voice Response (IVR), and Interactive WEB Response (IWR) platforms.
Rx3000 software implementation services include on-site system pre-installation review, scheduling and coordination of system/database setup, development of patient registration and billing interfaces and on-site staff training and production "go-live" assistance. Services for conversion of patient data are available as an option.
