Rx3000 Extensive Interface Support
Rx3000 supports almost all industry standard interface specifications including HL7 and NCPDP EDI data-communication protocols and networks, e.g. Ethernet 802.3.
This includes the predominant HIS proprietary software systems as well as hospital developed HIS programs for ADT, billing and outpatient registration information. Data-communication links have been established with all major computer equipment manufacturers. We support both on-line third party billing and interfaces with automated drug dispensing systems.

HL7 Standards
PCSI has maintained a membership in the Health Level-Seven organization since 1988. The Rx3000 interface software supports the HL7 Specification, Versions 2.2 and 2.3 for ADT, billing and order entry. In addition, interfaces have been created for linking to a master clinical record allowing Rx3000 systems to feed data in real time to the host system for clinical information.
