Who We Are
Pharmacy Computer Services, Inc. (PCSI) is a growing company based in Southern Oregon. We blend our pharmacy and technologically rich backgrounds to provide software and services to optimize pharmacy operations.
What We Do
Pharmacy Computer Services, Inc. (PCSI) was founded by six practicing pharmacists over 30 years ago. At first, the six founders wanted only to automate their own pharmacies, and so in 1977 began development of their own community system. Months later, a central computer was set up to provide on-line access for all four sites, to their by-then newly completed Rx3000 Community Pharmacy System. This worked well, so in 1978 PCSI was formed to put Rx3000 on the market.
A lot of things have changed since those six pharmacists first got together. Computer systems have come a long way, and so has PCSI. We now manage pharmaceutical data for several hundred pharmacies across the United States and Canada. Our products are used in university and pediatric hospitals, long term care institutions, HMOs, clinics and private pharmacies. We are growing more than ever, are constantly adapting with the times and new technology to to produce cutting edge software.
