Effective Prescription Call Management
The Call~Rx IVR option of Rx3000 easily handles the rising number of pharmacy calls—while keeping service high and lowering expenses. It also places every refill order it gets straight into your Rx3000 system by ID and Rx number. No typing. Call~Rx eliminates stacks of voicemail orders. It responds to your patient’s daytime calls and never leaves them on hold. This will significantly reduce on-the-phone time for your staff.
Call~Rx is effective in answering a patient's questions, delivering information, storing voice messages and routing calls. While buying time for you and your staff, it gives immediate and friendly responses to most of your patient's requests. Of course, customers always have the option of connecting directly with staff—but the bulk of your routine patient calls will be fulfilled successfully through Call~Rx. And almost as effectively as if you were answering their calls directly.
Faxing the Doctor
When Call~Rx takes a “no refills” call, it will immediately fax a refill request form to the appropriate doctor's office. This happens while Call~Rx is telling the patient in plain language that even though no refills are left, a refill authorization request has been sent. Patients are also told how long to wait before checking back for the completed prescription.
Automatic Patient Calling
When you have approved the refill and it's ready to go, the patient won't know it unless callbacks are made. Call~Rx automatically calls to tell your patient that the prescription is ready. Call~Rx talks either directly to a person, or to the patient's voice mail. During the original refill request, Call~Rx will have told the patient to expect this pick-up call. The Call~Rx also can automatically make calls to tell your patient that the prescription is not ready should the Pharmacy be unable to process the request in the expected pick-up time. This reassures your patients by keeping them in the loop from the beginning.
All the information needed for Call~Rx to fax doctors and call patients comes from the Rx3000 Outpatient pharmacy side. Use and settings are controlled by pharmacy management.
